Back in the pool

Since I was little I grew up in a happy place and a happy family, dancing, drawing and my grandmother and parents laughing at me. I always liked the idea of being artistic no matter my age by then, but I always wanted something else than only it. When I was 5 years old I remember my mom saying that she wanted me to know how to swim and become a good swimmer even more like my sister; by then I was practicing Ice Skating and it wasnt a bad idea at all thinking about being at the pool all day, something that I used to do every weekend and get really bad sunburns.I started it whan I was about to turn 6, looking at that big pool and all the people surrounding it I wont lie, I was scared letting that go and try not to hear or even see other kids crying; taking classes and learning all the styles was definitelly a challenge but there it was, the exact moment when I realize that this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
Not only learning really fast, but becoming a professional synchronized swimmer is one of the things that I fell proud of as well as my entire family and close friends. Seven days a week, nine to ten hours per day, for 15 years and any days off, is something that nobody could ever understand on how much work you gotta do just to get to the perfect score or perfect performance. This environment helped me so much in my life, it changed my way of thinking, changed my life for sure and my constant effort was well payed. Here I grew up, here I lived the best moments of my life, here I won many gold, silver and bronce medals and this is where I feel more than a stong connnection is just a huge part of my life.
